Benefits from the River to River Bike Ride - July 26, 2008

Cyclists can support the beauty and heritage of Bucks and Montgomery counties as they pedal past them during the River to River Route 113 Heritage Bicycle Tour on Saturday, July 28.

A portion of the proceeds from the Bicycle Tour benefit Heritage Conservancy, a regional leader in natural and historic preservation.

Founded in 1958, Heritage Conservancy promotes open space preservation, natural resource protection, property stewardship, historic preservation, adaptive reuse of existing structures, wildlife habitat restoration, and biodiversity.

These goals are achieved through professional land use planning and design, public outreach and education, innovative land conservation and historic preservation strategies, and the application of best management practices for property stewardship. Heritage Conservancy is a nonprofit membership organization.
